I’m Margaret Thompson, LCSW - a relationship expert and founder of the Salt Lake Marital and Family Therapy Clinic.

In helping children and families throughout the years, I realized that it’s crucial to address any unresolved issues in the marriage. This doesn’t mean there’s a marital problem; it means that even the smallest shift can have a significant impact on each family member. This is how I came to specialize in couples work.

When I first work with a couple, I offer a 4 session assessment process. I see the couple together on the first visit, each partner alone one time and then together again on the 4th visit. This helps me provide sensitive, straight-forward feedback unique to your relationship.
